Hand Made are a rock band from Exeter that fuses the speed and energy of punk with the depth and intensity of metal. With influences such as Hundred Reasons, System Of A Down, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against and The Foo Fighters, the band have a raucous, hardcore-tinged live sound whilst maintaining an unambiguous clarity.
Hand Made are about performing excellent music that points people to God. The band want people to know that they're Christians and to enjoy their music for all that it's worth. This means the songs are very real and relevant because they're an honest expression of who they are.

The band have been together since 2003 and during that time they have been busier than they imagined. Whilst holding down full-time jobs, the band have played many gigs in and around Devon and at Greenbelt festival 2005. The band are all committed Christians and want to actively support Christian events for young people. They regularly feature in local city-wide Christian youth events but at the same time they aim to play as many gigs in secular venues. To date they have played several times at the local Cavern club as well as supporting Christian bands - Quench, Superhero and SuperVision. The band are also involved in promoting and showcasing local young bands in The Portal events held at the Cavern Club in Exeter.
In December 2004 the band released their 8 track mini-album - Fear of Falling on Mad Borris Records and were supported by an enthusiastic 100-strong crowd of local young people at the launch event. More recently the band have released 2 new singles.
Hand Made continue to play regularly at a variety of venues and remain committed to delivering distinctive and energetic rock music consistent with their Christian faith.
