My Hero will always be Christ Jesus, the one who gave his life for me...Romans 5:8
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:18-19 (Old Testament)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth...John 1:1,14 (New Testament)
About me: Welcome and thanks for visiting the space of Moms Working for the Kingdom. We are a Community of Christian Mothers/Women who are Kingdom workers. I felt the leading of God to create a place where women who serve Christ in their daily walk could promote their businesses and ministries. Moms Working for the Kingdom was created in 2007. Our group consist of women of faith who either use their businesses to bring God glory or work within their businesses doing the same. We use every opportunity to witness to others about his Son, Christ Jesus. Together our desire is to be a bright light that shines for the Lord.
The Bible says….” we are the light of the world and that a city on a hill cannot be hidden...Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl, instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house“.
In the same way, we are to let our lights shine before men, that they may see our deeds and Praise our Father in Heaven. I have been so filled and excited at watching our Network grow over the months. We hope you too will join us at Moms Working for the Kingdom and add a blessing to our growing Community.
I am also the Editor in Chief and organizer of the Woman2Woman Lounge which I developed not too long after Moms Working for the Kingdom. This website was developed in association with Moms Working for the Kingdom. At the Woman2Woman Lounge we share with our readers articles and interviews of women serving Christ in their daily walk who want to share their testimonies to encourage and inspire others. We seek to lift up our sisters in Christ, and share truth, hope and love with others who may not know our risen Savior. With us it's not always about business, we care about the struggles of one another, not just in a work related sense but within their families, marriages, relationships, and just life in general. These interviews will inspire you, instill hope within you and have you praising God for the things he has done in the lives of these women and in yours. We hope you will stop by and read some of the powerful testimonies of these inspiring ladies.
W2W also accepts inspirational article and poetry submissions. We cover subjects dealing with marriage, family, relationships, overcoming adversity, women's health, etc. We hope you will stop by and visit us sometime soon! God Bless and thanks for your visit.

The Four Candles burned slowly. Their Ambiance was so soft you could hear Them speak...
The first candle said, "I Am Peace, but these days, nobody wants to keep me Lit."
Then Peace's flame slowly diminishes and goes out completely.
The second candle says, "I Am Faith, but these days, I am no longer Indispensable. "
Then Faith's flame slowly diminishes and goes out completely.
Sadly the third candle spoke, "I Am Love and I haven't the strength to stay Lit any longer." "People put me aside and don't understand my importance. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them."
And waiting no longer, Love goes out completely.
Suddenly...
A child enters the room and sees the three candles no longer burning.
The child begins to cry, "Why are you not burning? You are supposed to stay Lit until the end."
Then the Fourth Candle spoke gently to the little boy, "Don't be afraid, for I Am Hope, and while I still burn, we can re-light the other candles."
With Shining eyes the child took the Candle of Hope and lit the other three Candles.
Never let the Flame of Hope go out of your life.
With Hope, no matter how bad things look and are...Peace, Faith and Love can Shine Brightly in our lives.
"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker."
Psalm 100
"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."
Psalm 107:1
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
