Radio ready music ONLY that is easliy sold to large market radio stations. We are booking bands who are ready to work and who are able to TOUR! Payment is discussed in detail during the negotiation of a contract ONLY!
FOR CONSIDERATION,HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
1) At least (1) 8x10 photograph of the band.
2) A brief one or two page biography about your act, your past experiences, influences etc.
3) A brief statement of your goals and needs. Be specific! Consider your point in your career. If you can't see yourself doing this 5 years from now then you don't need a Booking Agent. Please don't ask for money! We are not a bankroll.
4) Supporting items such as trade press or newspaper clippings, a list of your best and most successful shows and the size of the crowd,REVIEWS, and info on future bookings that we may attend.
5) A CD of 2 or 3 of your best songs. This should be as professional as possible. If you are looking for a Booking Agent at this point in your career, then obviously you have invested in SOLID recordings. Also, please do not refer us to a website to hear your music. It doesnt sound good on computer speakers!
6) A list of bands that you have played with outside of your market who might host you in their city for any shows that you want booked. We need DETAILED contact information from them. No Myspace pages accepted for this purpose.
7) If you want us to book a tour, WE WILL ONLY DO SO IF YOU HAVE A FOLLOWING IN THE CITIES THAT YOU WANT TO BOOK OR IF YOU HAVE AN ESTABLISHED BAND FROM THAT CITY WHO WILL HOST AND PLAY A SHOW WITH YOU. Contracts will be signed before the tour begins! Also, we CANNOT do last minute bookings especially if your band is not known outside your market.

If it can't get played on the radio without every other word being bleeped than we are not for you! You must be marketable! TO BE CLEAR, WE DO NOT claim to represent any of the artists that you may find here. We are fans of great music and recognize the talent that these bands have.
About me: ASCENT ENTERTAINMENT is an Atlanta based Booking Agency and Event Organizer specializing emerging artists ready to jump to the Regional level. Our formula for getting you there will work for any band who wants to play outside of their market in a 200 mile radius. We will work with any bands willing to do what we require as long as you have a product to sell. You do not have to be signed and, quite frankly we prefer and greatly respect Indie Artists and labels to work with. We cannot work with bands that do not have a retail ready CD or EP and bands that do not market themselves or promote what they have to offer. We also cannot work with bands that only want weekend gigs. Ideally, you must be able to bring in at least 100+ fans to a local show before you should consider moving to the next level or before we can join your team. Most bands looking to tour will agree that there is NO MONEY in touring. Clubs will only pay you if you can bring a crowd to a show. Our method will increase your chances to A) have an audience at every show outside your market, B) have a better chance to not only get paid well on the road but receive a guarantee for every show you play and C) be asked back to play over and over at the best clubs in the Nation! Let's face it, there are VERY FEW clubs anymore that care how good you are! If you cannot provide an audience that will drink their beer they won't give you the time of day and they won't pay you a dime! WE WILL BOOK YOU IN THE BEST CLUBS IN AMERICA IF YOU FOLLOW OUR PLAN! If you are not willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get to the next level, then please move on! If you are, then let us help you live your dream!

Beginning December 1st, a online voting competition on www.projectindependent.net will determine which bands will advance for an opportunity to become the Featured Artist for 2009. The Featured Artist receives a 60 day national tour, $5,000, CD manufacturing, custom merchandise from Rocky Mountain Hardcore, free gear and tech support, and more!
