Hi there! Welcome to Hand of Bela Peck's page front! I am an artist raised in Connecticut and currently living in Texas. I work mainly with vintage fabrics using traditional New England primitive designs. However- my art is slowly being transformed by the amazing landscapes and easy lifestyle I've found here in Texas.
Hand of Bela Peck's name comes from the love of an 18th century graveyard just past the meadow where my friends and I played. It is the same graveyard the ghost of Benedict Arnold's mother haunts every Halloween night looking for her son. In our circle, bravery was marked by the ability to stand alone with your palm firmly atop Bela Peck's cold stone hand!
Currently I sell most of my work through ebay and private commissions. You can also find me in UHAT (Unique Halloween Art Treasures) alongside many other gifted artists who offer highest quality, one of a kind creations.
Jacquie, thank you so much for the cute little eggs. I love them. They got there just in time, too. I took one of each and left the rest for Marth. Love you!
I could not run or play in boyhood. In manhood I could only sip the cup, Not drink-- For scarlet-fever left my heart diseased. Yet I lie here Soothed by a secret none but Mary knows: There is a garden of acacia, Catalpa trees, and arbors sweet with vines-- There on that afternoon in June By Mary's side-- Kissing her with my soul upon my lips It suddenly took flight.
