Who are we?
Well, since you asked we're HANDS AND VOICES, and we're a singing and signing choir!
Our choir is made up of adults with and without with learning disabilities. We use signs as they help people who may have difficulty expressing themselves vocally to communicate more easily (and also because its a lot of fun!)
The signs we use are mainly taken from MAKATON, though we also take signs from other signing/language programs when we can't find them in MAKATON.
As well as performing regularly, we regularly run workshops where members of the choir teach other people to sing and sign.
If you're interested in our workshop programme, or want to know anything else about the choir, give us a ring on 01904 626 965 or email on workshop@cubemedia.biz
