Austin Bascom, has carved himself quite a niche in the global dance
scene over the past decade through quality productions, innovation,
and a business sense rooted in integrity. A Toronto transplant born
and raised in London, he has performed across five continents
showcasing his epic sound.
Under the monikers Abacus, A:XUS, and Charlie Brown, he has
produced for numerous imprints including Balance/Prescription,
Airtight, DNH Records, EMI (France), 83 West, and Guidance with
which he released his first full length album entitled "A:XUS
SOUNDTRACK FOR LIFE" which is still a timeless classic. His
collaborations and remix work have seen him finesse a palette of
talent as diverse as Esthero, Nick Holder, Ivana Santilli, Badmarsh + Sri, and countless others
April 2007 sees the re:launch of his own imprint RE:THINK
RE:CORDINGS with nothing but the best to be expected from this man
who can only be described as PURE genius.
