Screenwriting, filmmaking, drawing, sculpting, Martial arts, bodybuilding, swimming, bicycling, etc...It has been my dream to make a film about the 'Hopkinsville' Goblins incident of 1955 and that's what I intend to do within the next few years. "Start small" is what they say. Sam Raimi did it with EVIL DEAD in Michigan. Those peeps who did the laughable-yet-bankable BLAIR WITCH PROJECT did it too. I have other, more high-profile film concepts that have been germinating inside my head as well.

Fave shows of old are FARSCAPE(of course), Dawson's Creek(don't laugh), Raven(the martial arts show, not the chubby ex-Cosby kid), Now and Again(cancelled-before-its-time CBS show), The Phoenix(yet another cancelled before its time), StarMan(based on the hit Carpenter film, cancelled too; notice a pattern here?)

About me: Tall(6'5"), ruggedly handsome and aspiring filmmaker who resides in the nice and inviting city of Brooklyn, OH. I've been in and out of art classes since I was able to get in trouble for drawing topless mermaids in PreSchool. Call it a gift. I've also been, more or less, like a human sponge when it comes to cinema and animation. I read a lot, so I have a very vivid imagination(you could make 10 or more original hit films based on the creative stuff I've dreamt up and continue to conjure in my head). I'm a special effects fanatic and know all the big names in the makeup effects industry. Recently, I've found my creative juices flowing yet again and I'm bound and determined to have filmed at least 3-4 films before I'm 40 years old(Thanx Rob Rodriguez for the inspiration). I've worked on a few local film productions here in C-Town, but nothing substantial yet. Mostly Conceptual Artwork, Makeup effects work, Swordfight choreography and script consulting(I did concept art and nearly had a fight scene with 'Devil's Rejects' star Bill Moseley in an aborted Sci-Fi/Horror film entitled DEAD PLANET). My list of contacts in the movie biz continues to grow on a yearly basis and hopefully I can find myself bumping heads with a Lucas or a Tarantino in the near future. Who knows. Beyond MySpace, I can usually be found online bitching about movies and how certain folks in Hollywood tend to screw them up in the Talkback section on Harry Knowles' great website http://www.aintitcool.com, or raising my daughter.
Currently I'm developing a Horror film entitled NATURE OF THE BEAST, a Sci-Fi film THE PHOENIX POINT and HOPKINSVILLE, as well as an action/fantasy film about the Monkey King of Chinese legend, hence the company name. Beyond that I'm developing a couple comic book projects, one is entitled MEMPO and is a killer ghost story based on the Nanking massacre and editing/contributing story ideas for an online comic entitled BLACKSEED.
I recently did some Makeup Effects work and acted in the 'My Frankenstein' music video for rising rap star RIS. It's nearly complete, but suffered a set-back on 7-26. Some pick-up shots are needed in the Spring. Development on NOTB continues as well as numerous other projects.
Who I'd like to meet: Asian film producers Tsui Hark, John Woo, Terrence Cheng and Andrew Lau. George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Dan Aykroyd, Donnie Yen, Bob and Harvey Weinstein, Bai Ling(so I can slap her), Rick Baker, Yuen Wo Ping and Corey Yuen, Nia Peeples, Steve Johnson, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, Breck Eisner, Matt McConaughy, Steve Wang, Mira Sorvino, Lucy Liu, Ewan McGregor, Michael Bey, Rob Bottin, Tom Savini(again), Jim Steinman, etc......
