About me:
Handsome Willy's is a bar and nightclub in New Orleans located in the medical section of the CBD @ 218 S. Robertson st. in what used to be an old Storyville brothel formely known as Jackson Inn.
Willy's is a chill underground downlow joint that if you didnt know it was there, you'de never know it was there. Once you find this unique spot, you'll never forget it.
Willy's opened in April 2005, several months before the storm, then reopened in January of 2006, several months after.
In just over 2 years of business, Willy's has carved out a unique spot for itself in the landscape of New Orleans nightlife. With a patio in front, and a huge courtyard in back, when the weather is nice, it is the perfect place to bring a date for a quiet drink.
Willy's always has different thing going on. During football season, our proximity to the Dome and the plethora of parking around us makes us one of the premiere spots for tailgaters and Saints revelers.
Our friday post work party features free crawfish, bbq, boiled crabs, fried turkeys, shrimp, oysters and much more.
Sometimes we have bands, sometimes we have DJs.
Willy's always keeps several nights open a week for personal and private events, as we specialize in conceptualizing, hosting, and throwing parties in a very unique setting.
We can provide packages that include DJs of any musical genre, bands, or fully catered affairs featuring any kind of food desirable for extremely affordable prices. If you have an event you are planning, throw it with us. You will not be disappointed.
