The Hands On'Semble is a contemporary percussion group devoted to the art of hand drumming. Created by renowned percussionist John Bergamo in 1997, the group has since developed a repertoire of original compositions, blending the rhythmic concepts and playing techniques of North and South India, the Middle East,West Africa, Indonesia, South America, and Western Chamber Music. Hands On'Semble has performed and lectured throughout the United States, as well as South America, Europe, and Asia at many of the world's premier percussion and world music festivals, music schools and conservatories.

Hello Hands On-Semble. Wow, I'm listening to your music, it's absolutely incredible! My husband was in LA earlier this year, too bad we didn't know you then. My God, we have to come and see you play in 2008.
It took me half an hour to write this silly-chilly-lullaby song this afternoon, and it is called: "If you let me hold your hand" What a silly song of love without a stupid word of "LOVE"!

I don't usually use Myspace to promote my own beliefs, but I was recently asked to sign a very important online petition asking international bodies like the WTO and IMF to work to rid the world of child labour. There are so many children suffering in this world so that we can enjoy cheap luxuries and an easy life. There is not much we can do as individuals, but this we CAN do. It's easy...one click and you're there, one more click and you've made a difference! I spent the first half of my life in Hong Kong (I'm 13 now) and I've seen little kids in Southern China exploited and vulnerable. I always remember that but for an accident of birth, I could have been one of those children.
