Half-handed Cloud is an interesting phenomenon. John Ringhofer, the man behind the namesake, is as joyful and frugal as his music. An economical thinker, Ringhofer prefers the subway over a taxicab, is a recycler of plastic, a compulsive note-taker, and a habitual optimist. He doodles in the margins of paperbacks, carries a couple different colored pens, and continues to use an antiquated CD walkman. When not on tour he lives in Berkeley California & works as a part-time custodian. Half-handed Cloud is able to ensconce complicated theological concepts into playground song without condescending to his subject or to his listener.

Hey, appreciate the list. The only ones in my possession are the Larry Norman, Phil Keaggy, and Trees Community releases. Love that creepy part in the first track of "The Trees Community" when they build back up into the "Where is now your God?!" section. Guess I know where the next few paychecks are headed. By the way, I just got "We Haven't Just Been Told..." and the 7 part Suite and Drowning Chariot song are swell. Is that a Stylophone I hear? hehe
Hey there, your music has been an enormous blessing to me and my sister! I only have Halos and Lassos, and I love it, but I'm not quite sure where to go from there. We dig a lot of weird 70s prog/art rock, and all the Jesus movement stuff. Any suggestions?! Thanks!
Hey John I saw you in Berkeley riding your bike the other day!! I was in my friends car, just visiting for 2 days. Hope you have a really great time at the Little wings show with Lake. That's going to be awesome! Stay awesome! david reza
