   About Half-handed Cloud
Half-handed Cloud is an interesting phenomenon. John Ringhofer, the man behind the namesake, is as joyful and frugal as his music. An economical thinker, Ringhofer prefers the subway over a taxicab, is a recycler of plastic, a compulsive note-taker, and a habitual optimist. He doodles in the margins of paperbacks, carries a couple different colored pens, and continues to use an antiquated CD walkman. When not on tour he lives in Berkeley California & works as a part-time custodian. Half-handed Cloud is able to ensconce complicated theological concepts into playground song without condescending to his subject or to his listener. ------------------- - S E L E C T E D - D I S C O G R A P H Y - --------------- "Learning about Your Scale" album 1999 (re-released 2001) // "I'm so Sheepy" EP 2000 (re-released 2003) // "We Haven't Just Been Told We Have Been Loved" album 2002 // "Thy is a Word, & Feet Need Lamps" album 2005 // "What's the Remedy?" Amazing musicality and arrangements John. Very impressive. Clever lyrics too, apart from the overly dogmatic message... it's pretty great stuff. Hope to see you in NYC some time.

I still feel really bad about last Friday. I really should have been there. I think it would have been good for my week. I dipped into the negative a lot this last week. But I am going to take a long break from the things that caused this negativity. I am praying for a peaceful and happy holiday season!!!!!!

Hi John,

I have been encountering the evil one in my life in many ways. Unrelenting. I think I now have the strength of God to help me through all of what I have been facing for the past few years. I am strong enough to carry love with me wherever I go. I wrote a song on Sunday which I think explains what I have been going through. Its called "I talked To God This morning". You can listen to it along with all of the other songs I have written on my website. I have a player created by Soundclick.com I put all of the songs I have written since I got this laptop in 2004. Please listen to it. It is the very first song in the player. My songs there are ordered in chronological order from the most recent to the oldest. Its best when listened with a headphone because the bass is hard to hear on a laptop. Anyways.. I love you and what you are doing. I feel like I now really want to go down the same kind of path. Please pray for me that I can be more positive and filled with love no matter what. I am praying for a slew of new very positive songs to come out of this.

Much Love,

Malouse

Thank you for being friends with "Who Needs God?"

We recently passed the 10,000 friend mark and it feels good to know so many people on MySpace agree we all need God.

Many Blessings!

I'll be in the UK while you are touring! Please tell me that you will be coming to the UK on this tour at some point this fall! If not, I will be very sad and will have to do my best to get back to the states for just a weekend.
