Bio:

Hang formed in 1999 in Belgrade, Serbia. „Another Butterfly Died“ is the first studio album, recorded in 1999., came out on F.U.R. Records in 2000. . It was pretty dark and heavy record, yet melodic, with stories of drug addictions, war, death and personal inner struggles of average teenagers in Serbia during the years of political crisis. It was accepted very well by the people, and the record helped establishing the band one of the unique sound & identity, and upcoming promotional shows prove them as outstanding live act, very dynamic and brutal, but above all, very passionate. The Integrity/Shield influenced hardcore sound presented on first record is now upgraded big time on its succesor „Pretend Its Silence“ in 2003. on Dr Horror Records. More complex song structure, with various guitar sounds, vocal experiments, total progressive/ambiental parts with clean guitars brought the band a lot of attention to the public. Hang toured across the borders, shared stage with such names as: Napalm Death, Agnostic Front, Diecast, Integrity, Last Hope....etc. The band played two great shows at the famous EXIT festival in Novi Sad, Serbia, in front of the couple of thousand people at the Metal Hammer Stage. All the shows Hang played out of Serbia, all the friendships the band made „on the road“, helped the third EP „Endless Circle“ comes out on YEARS OF PAIN RECORDS, Bulgaria. The EP was on the streets in the november of 2006. It contained 5 songs, 4 new, one old re-recorded, exclusive new video, live medley video and a great photo gallery. Again it was a dark, fast, brutal and "in your face music”, but yet very passionate and melodic with some marvelous guest appearances on vocals by Fat Tonny (That Shining Star) and Nathan Grey (Boy Sets Fire). The big promotional show took place in Belgrade, and Hang did one hell of a gig, with guest performance by their good friends Bridge To Solace from Hungary. 2006-2008 is the period the band constantly did shows and toured across the Serbia and partly Europe (Balkan countries). In the beginning of 2008. Hang entered their studio and started working on the new album. Recording process of "Wolfpack Hunting Sable Sun" is finished in the summer of 2010. The great Billy Anderson did the mastering in october 2010. On april 22. 2012. "Wolfpack Hunting Sable Sun" has been posted on the internet, for a purpose of a free downloading.
