What is Hanji??..... lets pause and think about it for a second..... HANJI.... when do you use tha word....... why do u say it..... who do u say it to....... well the literal meaning is saying “Yes” with respect in the Punjabi language. The Hanji Movement... was created to bring the youth and everyone else together and sayin yes... HANJI to our roots.... history.... traditions..... culture... ancestors.... The Hanji Movement,, was put together to connect the youth and culture of ALL races and people. Hanji is more than a sound, style, slang, phrase, or image. When the word “Hanji” is used, it is meant to remind you of where you're from, and also where you're headed. The Hanji Movement,, is a way for everyone to keep their tradition alive and make sure that the generations to come know what saying/being HANJI is.
