About Hannah & The Bloodlines Nominated for Best Artist!
From the start “ Hannah & The Bloodlines” have been able to successfully mix experimental with mainstream. Their first single “Nobodies Fault But Mine” aired on independent radio stations throughout the country, and even Europe! They have the hooks of pop, and the raw energy of rock., enabling them to produce an impressive live show that includes intricate jams and melodies not found on the recordings.
“This band makes you feel like your floating, then hits you hard with the energy of the unexpected. They are familiar and yet completely unique at the same time.”
The band released their first album April 1st 2009. It is “A truly fresh and unique voice, has to be natural. Even the most modern technology can’t fake it. Hannah and (the) Bloodlines are naturals”, Alison Hammond, WMVY Radio. With such players as Stephen Gaspar (guitar), who at the young age of 21 has already shared the stage with musical legend John Blackwell (drummer for Justin Timberlake and Prince) and pop icons such as The Click5., Ryan Broderick (drums) who has been playing with blues heroes such as Sam “Bluesman” Taylor in New York since he was in high school. Shaun Munday holds down the low end on bass, helping to give the band a dash of soul. Hannah Sumner inspires most of the melodies and lyrics, and Jeremy Vovcsko on saxophone only propels the musical improvisations deeper during their live performances.
The band has already embraced audiences on television and radio, and has been constantly in the top 20 in experimental on ourstage.com/hannahthebloodlines. So keep an ear open to hear the new sound coming out of Boston.
Hello, I hope you are having a great Sunday and relaxing weekend. It is not that nice here - dull and cold, well I am cold at least. Not doing a lot today just chilling on the computer and watching a bit of telly. I hope you are ok. Take care and hope to hear from you soon. Sara XXX
