The Blind Love E.P was recorded over 3 days in Dale Cotton’s Audioworkshop in beautiful St Leonards, Dunedin. Produced by Cotton, this 5 track record is Hannah Curwood’s second release, following her critically acclaimed debut album Sky Above Horse Below in July 2007.
Curwood’s sensual, eerie voice nestles comfortably amongst lush backing vocals as she explores her unique brand of alternative pop. Graceful, poetic song-writing is complimented by it’s setting amongst fiercely melodic guitar, piano, glockenspiel and haunting musical saw.
A core band of Hannah Curwood, guitarist Tom Healy and drummer Darren Stedman was fleshed out by performances from Graeme Downes, Dale Cotton and the wonderful girls from Dunedin sensation Haunted Love, Rainy McMaster and Geva Downey.
The Blind Love E.P is scheduled for release in August 2009.

So yeah, Prince William's agent/publicist/PR guy/whatever called us or rather called the head of our label, Sailor Mouth Records, to ask if we could play at some royal thing in a few months and we asked him for a dollar.
