My biggest hero must be Eric; my brother-in law who died in October '99 at the age of 34 of the complications of a rare bad desease, called LCH (Langerhans Cel Hystiocytose)
The way he handled his illnes forced a lot of respect to me and made me realise that most people (including me) dont even know what suffering is.
Eric was the guy who pulled me back into the rock music en he also is responsable for the fact that I am a bikefreak today
He was on his way to become a great tattoo-artist, his shop still excist in his name.
Life pulled a bad joke at Eric, he died knowing he was going to be a dad but he never got the chance to see his beautifull little girl Lola

I'm working in an institution for men and women with mental (and fysical) handicaps. I guide 7 men in their daily livings and try to make life as normal as possible. I really enjoy this work, eventhough sometimes it seems to suck all energy out of me.
