Hey! Are the holiday shoppers driving your crazy yet??! I wanted to let you know that i'll be playing a show in London on jan. 15th at Half Moon Putney, and if you're not gigging yourself?
Anyway, i have two opening acts....Shurman and Andrea Glass.....i found Andrea on myspace, and produced her record in Nashville over the summer. I think you'll dig her....http://wwww.myspace.com/andreaglassmusic
Also, Al Perkins......who's played with everyone from the Rolling Stones to Gram Parsons to Emmylou Harris will once again be with me. His career is obviously on a downslide!!! Ha!
I found some old clips of Al's days with Manassas and put them into this video to introduce you to Shurman and Andrea....if you get a second.....check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0u6hDmd4As
Anyway, i hope you are doing well, and the music is coming along finely!!!! Hope to see you, Kevin
Greetings from the Valley of the Clueless. You'll be pleased to hear that we played in a hairdresser's on Saturday. Yeah, that's Rock 'n' Roll Dresden style!
Mr Blix-where do i buy your album? I would like a copy of 'The Biggest Lie'- fantastic song, only second to Steve Elston's 'Jenny'- Please let me know; Tree-spect Jon
Where do you play in Dresden? I can't make it myself... but I know a lot of people there, I will tell them to get their asses to the venue.
Dresden is a lovely city, nevertheless, you will have a GREAT time there. If you have time (and if you don't play there yourselves) go to Groove Station in Neustadt and say hi to my f(r)iends.
Not much of a help for 21st here. Sundays suck, as everywhere, and the only bar remotely possible (for me, of course) just closed down.
Long time no hear... I was myspace-lazy for... well, pretty much the whole summer. WHAT WHAT, you coming to Germany? Or did you already do the trip? Hit me with dates and stuff and nonsense, I will catch a train/bus/plane/Rose MacGowan and try to catch ya... why not Munich then, aye?
I hear that Mr Pants is now in this band. Fine move. He has quick fingers, a good pump action, and never lets his poor eyesight hold him back. I on the other hand have very good eyesight, but let athsma control my life. It's a mixed bag and I guess you must play the cards that were dealt to you.
