myspace is pretty cool but there are lots of other good things out there. you can check out more at earconnector.co.uk where you'll find music that's happening at the moment on the groundfloor london scene documented by the wonderfully stylish and aesthetically rigorous alex bonney; there's a mix of things, some young(ish) and free(ish) and cooly composed but also some old dark horses (like myself), and increasingly, friends from other beautiful english places like leeds and birmingham, and friends from abroad, mostly paris and skandinavia, with some people from outa space also. worth a visit.

Hope you're well! Just a quick message to say I really loved the gig at Cadogan Hall on friday. Thought you sounded great! I got to meet Steve Swallow after, bet it was amazing playing with him!
We finally got round to recording my Trio... it'd be good to hear what you think. I think we've moved on loads since the Performance Platform; Id appreciate your opinion as to whether you think its the right direction!
Hans, how are you doing. Hope all is well on planet Koller ! Have you come up with any new "sick" chords lately, you know, the type that when you see them on paper, it doesn't seem to help at all when trying to improvise through them (well that's what happens to me !)
Cheers for the feedback yesterday, it really inspired me to do something about my sound/feel...
Dont suppose you could remind me of the albums/bassists you mentioned (if you can remember them - i just remember that no-one could agree on the colour of one of the album covers!), i think having a sound in mind to work around rather than starting from nothing would be a good start.
