Welcome to Happy Hour's Space. Here you'll be able to leave feedback for the creators, Jim Kohl and Tommy Brennan, and also check out some strips that may never see the light of day. While our website is being built feel free to chat and blog with us here. Here's a little more about "Happy Hour"...
Happy Hour is already being published by The Daily Targum, a newspaper at Rutgers University that reaches 30,000 people a day, Taken Magazine, and other night life publications. Happy Hour follows the misadventures of two friends, Jim and Tommy, as they enjoy the local bar scene together. It is not over your head humor, nor does it leave the audience wondering, What just happened? The strip focuses mainly on our two main characters and is considered a social satire on pop culture, the bar scene, friendship, and more.
The artwork is drawn by Jim Kohl and then colored by Tommy Brennan, both of whom write the strip themselves. Kohl and Brennan are also stand up comedians who perform in New Jersey as well as some clubs in New York City. The strip is a one panel comic which follows the set up punch line form of writing. Its quick, witty, and everyone can relate to the two characters portrayed in the strip.
See you in the funny papers.

I just relaunched The Lowdown on Webtertainment. tv. The podcast brings you an assortment of information based on many different topics. If you love to surf the web for random information, then let The Lowdown start you off in the right direction! Topics range from artist and podcast interviews, reviews of travel locations, and occasional screencasts demonstrating social web applications!
I'm looking to get the word out on the relaunch and even find possible topics to cover in a future Lowdown. If you have suggestions, please contact me!
Thanks for the add. Great stuff. Check out my clips at Myspace, Sirius Satellite radio and Gotham NYC. Either way comedy does the body good. May the health of the salmon be with you always. Slan, Mel.
