Formed in the summer of 2004, Happy Attack are officially the best 9-piece funk/rap collective In Essex. Formed with a duel purpose to get the UK dancing and laughing, we’ve been compared to Black Grape, The Streets and Ian Dury & The Blockheads – the latter reference particularly appropriate since most of the band are from the same town as Lord Upminster (RIP). Band members include the best scratch DJ in the country, the best looking drummer in the country, a funky-assed bassist and shred guitarist, 2 awesome and handsome horn players, a newly recruited percussionist that hits the bongo's like no other and the 3 illest MCs this side of the A127 – Stumaster Sasquatch, Jam-master Jon and the Jefford Method
