I love being in the studio, both on and off the air, doing things like production, commercials and Station IDs. Other than that, I love promoting up and coming artists.
Music
My preferance in music generally varies from time to time, depending on what's new and what has just come out, etc etc. I love listening to WBER and playing things I hear on there because there are so many undiscovered artists I'm a fan of a lot of old school rap (you know, the rhyming stuff) and classic rock. Also, I'm into a lot of alternative rock, and some rap today. Not all of it, but when it comes to dancing to music, any rap will do, especially seeing as it's hard to dance to rock (unless moshing counts :p).
Books
Pretty much the only books I read anymore are "Manga". Think anime in a book. I do enjoy the twilight series. I've finished all four books now. Also, sometimes I'll read art books to improve my artwork, or any kind of books on Firefighting.

About me: Welcome to the profile of DJ Slam of WMCC - The Fuse! My real name is Tim Stam, and I honestly haven't been with the Fuse all that long. I've only been doing my show for this past semester, but I hope everyone is enjoying it so far!
Slam's Jams plays everything, from Rock (both alternative and heavy), rap, hip-hop, and R&B, and even older musics like stuff from the 70s and 80s all the way over to lesser known artists of today. Be sure to listen in either online or at the school from Noon to 1pm for Slam's Jams, every Friday!
Who I'd like to meet: I'd love to meet anybody, especially if they'd like to come on the show or join up with the station.
I'd also love to meet some artists like Meiko, Gavin DeGraw, Alyssa CoCo, Sara Bareilles, and so many others.

You're pretty much entirely wrong about the gender reassignment, LOL. Just because your co-worker's gender re-assignment went very horrifically, does not mean everyone turns out like that. In most cases, it's a complete success, especially FTM[female to male. ]
