  • Bio

They say pain makes great art. Well, it is true in the case of the Las Vegas based band Happy Campers. Over the last 3 years Isaac Irvine (Happy Campers singer/songwriter) has had to deal with loss of friends, loss of family members, a near fatal asthma attack, and the struggle of his prematurely born son to survive. The result? Happy Campers darkest and most introspective offering “Death and Mourning in Las Vegas.” Already known for intelligent lyrics, and high energy music, Happy Campers have taken their lyrics, singing, music and entire band to a new level. .. .. .. Never finding their way on to a successful label, Happy Campers were forced to become good at D.I.Y. tactics. Over the last decade they have released 5 albums, toured the country, been on several compilations, videos, tv programs, and even been in a movie. Through online distribution they have sold thousands of CD’s and thousands of songs. With hundreds of shows under their belts the Happy Campers have rocked Warped Tour, Tony Hawk’s big skate park tour, Rock the Vote with Pennywise, Snowcore tour with Alien Ant Farm, The Hardrock with the Offspring, Red White and Boom with the Vandals and MC Hammer, in addition to shows with NOFX, AFI, the Atari’s, Unwritten Law, and No Use for a Name. Happy Campers music has appeared on MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Fox Sports Net, Adrenaline TV, the horror movie “Coons,” and Tony Hawk and Bam Margera’s Cribs episodes, just to name a few. In the punk genre where bands can sound a bit monotonous Happy Campers truly stand out. Ridiculous drumming, thunderous bass and drastic tempo changes provide a perfect background to the heartfelt range of vocals that often come across in three part harmonies. Happy Campers are a breath of fresh air for anyone who enjoys music with subtance that can kick you in the chest and have you singing along in the process. .. .. .. Happy Campers are: ..
