If Gene and Dean Ween were peeping on Mick and Kieth gang banging Steely Dan while listening to the 9-12-82 bootleg of the Talking Heads while Frank Zappa video taped in the corner of a tent at a hippie festival.

Hakkımızda The Soup - er American Happy Fun Good Time Band
We are in the slow transition of changing our name to "The Soup".
The Super American Happy Fun Good-Time Band are a bunch of cool dudes who like to have fun and perform music. The band plays a wide variety of musical styles that are intended to stimulate ones feet into a dance like motion. TSAHFGTJB is noted for having different sets of music each performance which range from rock, funk, bluegrass, disco, fusion, latin, jazz, and electronica.
They started off as an an experiment in improvisation for local jam musicians. Every week they would put together a different lineup and see how the jams would change from show to show. As of 2007 a solid lineup had formed and now try to play outside of their weekly gig.
In 2007 they performed at The 10,000 Lakes Festival, The Wakarusa Festival, and opened for Jake Cinninger and Kris Myers of Umphrey's Mcgee with Jack Straw.

I see march 6 in dekalb, are you guys doing March 5th at the abbey? I think thats the summercamp tryout thingy... I'd kill to see you guys at SummerCamp!
This Day In History While for a good long time this his been Jack Pieroth's birthday, in a more recent past we mark the last performance at Bevi's Bar in Naperville. A pretty okay performance by many standards, we see the introduction of the "Shakedown Fakeout", the return of Matt Weis to the stage, and my crazy ex-girlfriend deciding to come dance right next to me and my (then)current girlfriend. Come on now! Despite Mr. Weis's greatest attempts, TSAHFGTJB would never return to the site due to it's more than timely closure. Happy birthday jack and kinda brian!
