I like to paint, write and read. I love studying my Bible and fellowshipping with friends!
My husband is in the US Air Force and we recently moved to Okinawa Japan! This is an exciting adventure for us!
About me: I am a Bible believing Christian. This means that I make a daily decision to follow Christs teachings and to apply them in my life. I believe it is imperitive that we change our lifestyles when we become Christians to reflect that of Christ, and that we are to be a holy people, set aside, a light in the darkness of this world. I encourage all of my friends to put off their wordly nature while studying the Bible and growing in Christ. My blogs reflect this, and I will blog about the Truth that I find in my studies.
Please feel free to listen to messages from my Church, I pray they will bless you as much as they bless me!
You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan, You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Who I'd like to meet: Joseph, (Gen. 37-50) because he fled from temptation and harboured no ill feelings toward his brothers. Recognizing the plan God had for his life and that all was going according to that plan.
David, (1 Sam. 16-all of 2nd Sam.) because he trusted God and accepted reproof and punishment for his sins with thanksgiving (2 Sam. 12).
While I was fluttering around from place to place this Monday after the holiday, I decided to float by your page for just a second or two to wish you a Wonderful Week.
Same to you Mel!! We went to eat at Grandma's. Food was delicious! She told us about your kitty's accident...is his head ok now? Kisses to the Garys and Lily.
I'm a little on the pressed side lately so my time seems to be exceedingly limited... but wanted to let you know, your always close to my heart! Love and Blessings, Deb
“The opposite of knowledge is not faith, but ignorance. And the opposite of faith is not knowledge, but unbelief. It’s certainly possible to have knowledgeable faith and ignorant unbelief. Faith and knowledge are compatible, shoring up our confidence in the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”-Greg Kouhl
May the remainder of your week be blessed, Deborah
“And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13).
Within the ministry there are different stations or roles. However, their purpose is the same, to bring ALL of us into fullness, spiritual maturity in Christ.
