Crickets Chirping was founded in July 17th, 2006. It was start by 4 boys friendship (Ahonk, DonDon, Fariz, and Bagus) that has same negative behaviour. Then, they try to makes a band called Crickets Chirping, which is play Melodic Punk. After few months in rehearsals, the drummer decides to quit, but it's not make them to give uo to continue the band.
The rest of member auditioning some drummers. Their final choice goes to Andra. Quincidentally he has no band at that time. With this new formation Crickets Chirping start to play in a couple schools prom and try to make a song that they finnaly made it. Unfortunetally, the two founding members (Ahonk and Fariz) must resign because they have to continue their study to other city.
That was dark age of Crickets Chirping. But the age was ended when Adit, a guitar player which is DonDon friend in elementary school, came up and join the band. When they asked "why they pick up Adit ?". They give a simple answer, he has the same vision and he playing music earlier than they do.
So...here we are...a band who wants to take Indonesian music further especially punk rock.
kita lg sibuk mencari gigs dan menhadapi kehidupan SMA kelas 3. hhahaha... kapan2 kita maen ksana yap naek kapal laut sambil bawa motor trus gitar, bass, drum-nya dijingjing masing2... hahahahaa...
