Nice synth pop sometimes pretencious in the arrangments but honest. I can consider Bosh formed by projects as Deine Lakaien, Relatives Menschein. Favourite songs: Sklaven Geist, Die Sonne scheint für alle umsonst, Sucht

Listening to the first tracks I had an impression of a monotonous album, but going on with the listening I found interesting ideas and a greater variety in the composition of single tracks. Really particular voice and way of singing.

Harald Bosh express his very personal vision of synth pop, with a background made of classical and theatrical experiences. Great importance is given to the lyrics, committed and never banal. Excellent production by Alexander Krull. Favourite songs: Sklaven Geist, Die Acid Platte, keine LIEBT niemand, Die Sonne scheint für alle umsonst

A curious and peculiar work, result of the mix of a very pitched voice, with a clssical background, with the electro-pop samplers of D.W.R. 2009. Undoubtly a really original work, anyway some track sounds like a parody of themselves. Favourite songs: Blinder Saxophonist, Sucht

I don't like the cd cover, also it does not represent the music content. A fine mix of soft techno and typical german mainstream pop.

A pleasant listening, simple structure of tracks and a nice voice. It miss a single track that emerges between all. So in the whole It appears quite monotonous.

* Marco Tripodi, Stereo Invaders Magazine (City: Firenze)
Professional, with no fault but essential and ordinary also for the fans of the genre.

Finally a wave of freshness in a quite too stale scene! Deep and original vocal lines on a synthpop pad that (finally!) isn't copying anyone. A really good surprise: evidently the etnic melange of the artist had a strong contribution in the high characterization of the work. Successful with my best marks ! This CD is presented as a very "magniloquent" synth pop project with a German voice. This is not so bad, but the melody is anonimous and the voice quite flat with some good moments not enough supported by music. Favourite songs: none

Rather boring, don't like the vocals; looks like a release mainly adressed to German audience. The artwork is amateurish and the bonus dvd is frankly useless. Favourite songs: Sklaven Geist

It seems to me that the music don't bring any news in the sature landscape of '80's inspired synth pop. Improper union between "soft" sounds and important and pitched voice. Favourite songs: Die Sonne scheint für alle umsonst

A well done digipak but I don't like the artwork and most of all the music.

This is not my cup of tea ! I have never been a big fan of German acts such as Deine Lakaien, and my tastes didn't change. Some experiments are interesting, but I really dislike the vocals.

The 3 tracks not convincing affable... the sound is too simple and off. This record worthless small true.

* Roberto Filippozzi, Magazines: Rock Hard + Darkroom (City: Robassomero)
We can suggest Harald to work on this sound that with care could became something really interesting, but above all to exclude protagonism and not so good ideas as the included DVD.

We don't like the album but recording, engineering, mixing and mastering is very good. DVD is unnecessary

Eingängige Sounds unterlegt mit eigenwilligen Texten - so kommt die CD von Harald Bosh daher. Auf jeden Fall nichts für weichgespülte Ohren, denn diese würden eh beim charakteristischen Akzent des Sängers aufhorchen, sondern eher für Leute geeignet, die sich auch mal auf Pfade jenseits des Mainstream einlassen.
Wer dann anfängt den Texten zu lauschen, fühlt sich im ersten Moment verführt, hier doch oberflächliches Geplänkel zu vermuten. Doch wie so oft im Leben, der Teufel steckt im Detail! Also, Zeit und Muße nehmen und sich einfach mal auf Harald Bosh..s Kosmos einlassen. Aber Vorsicht ist geboten: Hier ist durchaus Satire im Spiel! (Yvonne Bodenstieg)

This is the debut of the Siberian avant garde project. Described as theatrical epic electro pop on their website, this suggests something special. I’m sure a lot of effort was made to produce this album and dvd (nice digi pack, 16 page booklet with pictures and lyrics), but unfortunately the dvd doesn’t make real sense. The same 11 tracks from the cd are performed on a dull stage, with just a few lights, smoke machine, 2 men and believe it or not, without an audience! The extra behind the scenes and footage from the studio don’t make sense either. I’ve got the feeling it might have been much better not to expose that much and keeping the mystery instead of posing as a big star. But back to the music. Although the man’s weird Russian accent flavours the German lyrics, I appreciate this ‘exotic’ touch of the songs. Worth mentioning is the man’s classic vocal training explaining the vibrato effect. In most of the songs I discovered nice melodies and hooks; “Sklaven Geist” and “Sucht” are nice examples of inventiveness and skilful compositions. Don’t watch the dvd first, but sit back and enjoy this pompous electronic opera.

This album proves the old adage that quality is more important than quantity.

Have you ever gone to a fairly sizable nightclub where they would play goth/EBM/industrial music, where the crowd would be sparse but it would seem as if there were more than a dozen people; the club full of neon lights and EBM playing in the background, and it feels like the loneliest place in the world, and on the drive home, you'd feel depressed and lonely? Just in case you ever want to experience that feeling again, Harald Bosh's Die Sonne Sheint für Alle Umsonst has managed to recapture the magic!

The album actually starts off promising; "Sklaven Geist" seemed surprisingly good, and maybe some of the other tracks would seem alright in isolation, but with each passing track, the album becomes more and more tedious to listen to. The major problem with Die Sonne... is that instead of aiming for quality, Bosh seems content to churn a ton of mediocre numbers with little variation. Every song on the album sounds the same after awhile, especially with Bosh's repetitive and unchanging voice. And just in case 11 tracks of the same thing were not enough, there's a second bonus DVD with - you guessed it - exactly the same tracks in exactly the same order, except this time, they were recorded live! The entire affair seems rather self-indulgent.

Individually, most of the songs on this album are not too bad; it's the repetitiveness that becomes tiring. Instrumentally, Die Sonne... is technically sound and quite interesting at times, particularly on "Sklaven Geist," "Die Sonne Scheient für Alle Umsonst," and "Blinder Saxophonist," but whatever interest is created by creative synths is quickly washed away in a sea of monotonous vocals. If you subtract Harald Bosh's vocals from Die Sonne Scheient für Alle Umsonst, you end up with fairly good goth elevator music. Or that is to say, maybe there's some potential here, but it can be said that Bosh should create more quality rather than churning out the same thing 11 times (x2) on one album.
