The Harbours are a band from the Mission District of San Francisco. Beginning in the wake of another band's hiatus, the Harbours were formed to play & record the songs of M. Zelaya. The songs are lyrical rock music that leans towards 60's psych rock as well as modern indie rock.
You can preview & purchase our first album on CD or download at the

"the Harbours are fast-rising stars of the Bay Area music scene. Seamlessly blending 60’s and pop sensibility with modern indie rock, they are a band to watch." - Pirate Cat Radio
"Throughout this albums solid 44 minutes...the Harbours have planted those intricate moments of sonic exploration...that take an album from "yeah, that's pretty good" to "look at the chill bumps on my forearm!" - SCTAS
"Zelaya...fervently crafting fetching melodies with one ear pointed to the Band and Neil Young records of his childhood and the other pricked in the direction of the indie rock artists he holds in equally high regard. Second Story Maker is a fitting testament to these twin passions. These are songs on par with the finest work by Sloan, the Pernice Brothers, and Teenage Fanclub, fellow kindred spirits in reappropriating the sounds of their parents' record collections in thoughtful, energizing new fashions."
