Born Taran Kaur Dhillon this tri-lingual songstress’ musical journey began in her birth place of India but, it was her arrival in the UK in 1991 that became the door to another world where her dreams could actually become a reality. Having no English language skills in her vocabulary, she immersed herself in a different type of universal language that she instantly connected with, music and went on to meet her first love…Hip Hop.
Today, she has gone on to become the face of Hip Hop within the Asian Music sphere. Her dedication to her craft, power of delivery and lyrical prowess has quickly propelled her and meant that she has shared the stage with superstars Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams! Her ability to shine has allowed her to travel the world and rhyme on hundreds of stages to thousands of people around the world who also connect with the same language.
Her long awaited solo project ‘Supa Woman’ is a testament to her beliefs and a product of her experiences. The incendiary new album is a culmination of almost a year in the recording studio working with only the hottest and freshest international producers including 45 WAX, D-Boy, Urban, AC Burrell, Asif [Fusing Naked Beats] and Tigerstyle.
