The blog..s visibility increased rapidly generating a more serious commitment from that moment on, being weekly updated and betting on more diversified contents such as reviews, interviews, articles, picture galleries and so on, always focusing on Hard Rock, Heavy and Thrash Metal. In a short time Maila-Kaarina could see doors opening to Hard Blast, specially after being invited by important music related Brazilian websites such as www.tosembanda.com and www.revistamusica.net to keep an homonym column to the blog. At the end of the same year she also started to write as a collaborator to www.universodorock.com and www.mundorock.net being able to improve Hard Blast starting to work with international subjects too. As part of her big collection of articles, interviews with great names of rock..n roll such as Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath), Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Deep Purple e Rainbow), Gary Holt (Exodus), Eric Martin (ex-Mr. Big) among others, on the the website you can also check the picture gallery and several concert reviews besides very interesting columns carefully written by very selected people with a lot to say. In august of 2008 the best of the opportunities came out and, after that, keeping Hard Blast just as a blog focusing the Brazilian scene became impossible. Maila-Kaarina was invited to collaborate with the journalist Leão Carvalho in the covering of Wacken Open Air, the biggest Heavy Metal Festival of the world, making comments about the event and its bands since Leão was there covering everything. Her texts gave to Hard Blast a visibility abroad and, together with it, a partnership proposal from her friend Thais Grossi, owner of the artistic consulting company IN-PULSE PRODUCTIONS, based in Houston, USA, and Hard Blast..s first international access badge to an event outside Brazil, the Rock the Bayou, in Texas, very important hard rock festival in the USA. The website was made in partnership with the web master Marcio Amaral and it..s the first bilingual rock news homepage of Brazil backed to rock, metal and its subdivisions on this focus . The www.hardblast.com has been online since November of 2008. Como parte de seu grande acervo, entrevistas com grandes nomes nomes do rock mundial como Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath), Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Deep Purple e Rainbow), Gary Holt (Exodus), Eric Martin (ex-Mr. Big) dentre outros, fazem parte do site e podem ser conferidas a qualquer momento, juntamente a uma galeria de fotos e diversas resenhas de shows. Em agosto de 2008 a melhor das oportunidades até então apareceu e, a partir dali, ficou impossível manter o Hard Blast apenas como um blog focado em assuntos e acontecimentos nacionais. Maila-Kaarina foi convidada a colaborar com o jornalista Leão Carvalho na cobertura do Wacken Open Air, maior festival de Heavy Metal do mundo, como comentarista do evento, pois Leão foi responsável pela cobertura do mesmo. Os textos geraram ao Hard Blast visibilidade fora do Brasil e, junto a isso, uma proposta de parceria com Thais Grossi, dona da consultoria artística IN-PULSE PRODUCTIONS em Houston (Estados Unidos) e seu primeiro credenciamento internacional oficial, no Rock The Bayou, importante festival de Hard Rock realizado no Texas, EUA. O site foi criado em parceria com o Web Master Márcio Amaral e trata-se da primeira homepage bilingue de rock news do Brasil, dentro desta proposta.
