News Press & Gazette is really making KRDO stand out. They do have a long way to go in beating KOAA however and in some time slots KKTV.
I just wonder what Harry Hoth's bean counting daughter Patti has been doing these days. You can blame her for KRDO's downward trend in the 1990's
In the 70's and 80's KRDO was number one in news primarly their late night newscast. I remember their location shots with people around southren colorado holding the number one finger showing everyone that KRDO was the alpha dog in the end of the those respected newscasts. I would be in one them with my dad.
It was also during those years that KOAA was building and for them it was a long process. By the 1990's KOAA took advantage of Patti's beancounting ways and started winning.
Thanks for calling me. I am happy that we touched base. I was wondering about you. Thanks for being a MySpace friend and check out the friends I collected.
Scoop! I just read a newly released biography of Bill O'Reilly called "The Man Who Would Not Shut Up" by Marvin Kitman. I know Bill's your hero so you should check it out, it's available at the PPLD. It documents a lot of his rise to the top through various jobs in the news industry... you may find it inspirational.
