Open up the Mind and Your Ass will Follow!! Listen with your Heart and let it set the Groove! Turning the public on to Music that just doesn't find it's way into Wal-Mart...I Facilitate The Flow on my Radio shows @ KAFM and KVNF. In the Past I have brought some of the best in Blues, Jazz, Singer/Songwriters,and Country to the Western Slope of Colorado; in Helping Non-Profits raise Funds which they need so bad because of cut back on grants giving out...You wanna Raise $$ and Awareness in your community...Music is the way! Also..I enjoy unleashing the creative juices which comes from the Soul and JaBeaux's Art Project happens. Working in the Garden, hitting the gym 5 days a week and of course Golf takes me to that Cool Place! Trying to keep my days Stress Free and enjoying the positive aspects of Life...Like Willie says, "I live one day at a Time" In Life, Change is always coming and this is a Good Thang for those who see the Flags...Went to Colorado in 77 playing Music, fell in Love, had Children, raised them to the Best a Parent could, pushed the Flow, made Friends, hit some Peaks, Almost Drowned in the waste, enjoyed working with Positive Minded Programmers @ KVNF in Paonia and KAFM in Grand Junction but Tejas came a calling...one seems to go back to the roots for a Drink of the Real Flow...Change is Good. Tejas was Good for turning the Picture around and for me to really Look at what Makes me Cook! Family, Music, Friends and Pushing the Flow and Colorado is where it will take place forever. I have some Unfinished Biz, the People want to Boogie and Damn it, their gonna have a Chance! Bring on The Boogie Woogie!

About me:

All the people that know me will tell ya' that I love a good laugh, Great food and Wine, Honesty no matter what, Music of all styles and the boy loves the Boogie Woogie...Raised in Southeast Texas between the Neches and Sabine Rivers, fine Ladies of the South with Men who Respected and Loved their Women...Made me who I am today. A Marine who takes his Freedom very serious! I will do whatever it takes to help his fellow man or woman maintain that Freedom...On a Friday Night, did battle on the fields of Glory wearing the Crimson and White and then...it was across the River to places such as The Big Oaks, Texas Pelican, Lou Ann s, The Cow Bayou Club and of course...Arm Wrestling at the B&B Bar in Vinton...The Groove was Born in those days and continues on this wild and Crazy Trip to somewhere. Played Harp for Larry Whitmore who taught me so much about Listing to the Singer and I still mess around today with as Mooney use to call it...The Mississippi Sax...I love Golf, doing JaBeaux, working out, being a Grandfather...I still promote Concerts when a Non-Profit wants to raise $$ and awareness for their cause...Love to Dance and enjoy that vibe that comes from the inner place of enrichment, Dancing just is so good for the Soul, it helps finding ones Mojo...and then, your Groove is set! And of Course...I love to be in the Kitchen...I'm one Bad Ass Coonass Cooking Fool...Well, I've been told...:-) Remember Buckaroo's...THE PEOPLE WANT TO BOOGIE!!

Who I'd like to meet:

Jimmy Carter, John Lee Hooker, Elvis, Muddy Waters, Hugh, Jim Morrison, Robert Johnson, Mickey Newbury,Danny Rhodes, Lefty, Cleopatra, JFK, Elvis, Ronnie Van Zant and Jesus...Kinda like a Songwriters Night in the Round at the Bluebird...And each tell stories until the Sun comes up.
