The rockabilly's call us psyco, the psycobilly's call us rockabilly. We're not so into labels or scenes we just call it rock and roll, but we can roll with either one.
Hard Money Saints:
Jack Rainwater, Guitar, Vocals.
Guitar influences range from Iggy and The Stooges, Iron Maiden, Motor head Link wray and Carl Perkins.
Vocal Influences, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Joe Strummer, Ian Hunter.
Jacks guitar sound can move from a country boogie to a shredding metal solo in the blink of an eye, while vocally Jack likes to mix a little country crooning with some 70’s hard rock stylings to keep things interesting.
Greg Langlais, Bass, vocals.
Influences range from jazz and Swing to Indy rock and makes all stops in between.
With a strong history in jazz and swing Greg has a mastery of the instrument that allows him to attack it with a ferocity that is a show in itself, yet MR. Langlais still manages spot on vocal harmonies.
Forrest Stevens, Drums, vocals.
Forrest has spent most of his career in more traditional rockabilly bands which serves as a strong foundation for HMS’s sound but not until joining HMS was Stevens able to play with the aggresiveness and energy he delivers here.
This powerhouse rhythm section coupled with the versitility of Rainwaters vocals and guitar provide a show that keeps the audience lambasted from start to finish. The style of songs vary enough and are delivered with such a rapid fire pace that audiences are engaged for the whole set. Hard Money Saints music originates from traditional Rockabilly and Country
But adds the influences of modern rock to create a unique more original sound.
