HARD SPIRIT was born in 2002. It was a hard bet since the beginning. The way was clear; they were looking for a perfect mix between the 80’s stadium rock and the modern rock you can hear these days.
In 2003 they released their first demo CD. It was just 6 tracks but more than 1.000 copies were sold all over Spain. After this success, the band, more confident than ever, starts to write a whole album.
During that period they won seven different contests, had a great show at ‘Bullring of Gijon’ playing in front of more than 10.000 people along with Spanish big-hit bands like PEREZA or M-CLAN with a great success (encore included), shared stage with big rock bands such as JADED HEART, SOUL DOCTOR, MAD MAX, BOB CATLEY, played in more of 40 successful shows in every corner of the country …
Once the songwriting was complete, in the early 2006 the band finally found a producer.
DANI G. (DarkSun) who had previously worked with Ingo Cjakovski (Rage), Achim Köhler (Primal fear, Sinner), Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Sunstorm), Lars Ratz … was the perfect candidate. He knew how to capture the essence of HARD SPIRIT since the beginning.
Now the album 'WALK THE WILD' is complete and the first reviews have been really amazing and wonderful, even saying that is one of the best rock albums ever made in Spain.
In June 2007 the band adjudges one of the most important music contest from all Europe, the "Villa de Bilbao" with more than 32.000 € in prizes and 2.000 bands trying to win.
HARD SPIRIT won the prizes of best band, best singer and best guitar player in an unforgettable night.
After this success the band make a good deal with TRIPLE A-METAL directed by Alberto Ardines (drummer and co-fundator of the famous spanish band "WARCRY"), now the album will be released in September '07 to all over Europe.
Now HARD SPIRIT is ready to show their fantastic and energetic live performances and to write their own chapter in the rock history.
