About me:
You might not know this self-confessed nicotine, trainer and Red Bull addict by the name Jon Hards, but you'll definitely know him by his work. In a short space of time Hardsy, 19, has built-up a solid clientele, creating MySpace layouts, logos and CD artwork for almost the entire underground scene. "Roll Deep, Wiley, Durrty Goodz, Little Dee, Frisco, Bless Beats, The DNA Mix Project and I've also done some stuff for a few charities," he says of his CV.
As well as using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, the new media designer has mixed his own talents with what he's been taught. "I did alright in school - I got an A in art," he tells RWD. "Now I'm studying a Graphics BTEC National at college. My teachers never believe I've done this work, which gets annoying - but after I show them the files, it's cool."
Showing us what he's made of, Hardsy is definitely one to watch. "I'm from the sticks," he confesses. "From a little town outside of Bristol called Warminster so I keep up via MySpace and the Internet really. Me... I just want to be involved in the music as much I can."
