Hard Waves is a past and present dream come true.
We’re from Portugal, and as far as I know there isn’t much internet Magazines writing and specializing in Metal and Rock music in our country. As far as music communities, there is some good Portuguese ones on the web. Building a music community and Heavy & Hard online Magazine was in my thoughts for some years now, and in the present time this is a fact.

Our main goals are simple and objective, promoting national and international bands, mostly underground, but some in our daily speech, and others mainstream, which in Portugal are not so known. Hard Waves has various powerful weapons to do so, since daily news, to reviews and interviews, featuring bands and artists, and also by videos, mp3 and events.

Hard Waves staff breeds and lives by and for music, so you pretty have the big picture about us, and our objectives. We just need one thing from you… your support! Reading, participating and listen to the music we offer you everyday!

Hard Waves Radio is currently looking for individuals to fill the following positions. HWR’s staff is unpaid, however, but you will receive great experience, resume/reference material, and as much band shwagg as we can throw your way!

We’re looking for people who have a great passion for indie bands in these genres. Prior experience with promotion, journalism, street teaming, etc. is helpful, but not required. As the positions are unpaid, we do not expect a huge time commitment, but applicants should expect to spend a few hours each week on their tasks.
