I have greatly enjoyed writing since 1969 and will one day make my living, not only from my Art, but from the tip of my pen. I usually spend several hours each day writing.
I have a great interest in reading, concentrating on biographies and autobiographies of men and women who have influenced our world. I rarely read anything by anyone who is living, because their 'last chapter' isn't written yet and people change. I have a fabulous library and greatly enjoy going to book fairs, searching for 'gold!'
I enjoy great music and have very eclectic tastes. I listen to music all day long and have a wonderful collection of songs downloaded from the Internet. I also sing, write songs, and play the guitar.
Ihave had a love affair with automobiles since I knew what they were. Corvettes and Shelby Mustangs are my favorites. I like convertibles and I like motorcylces. There is no better way to tour the country than astride a Honda Goldwing. On a cycle the trip IS the vacation; not the destination!
I am an avid photographer and with the advent of digital images I am absolutely thrilled with what can be done and the wonderful pictures I can take, which provide not only the inspiration I need to create, but great pleasure when viewing.
Finally, and quite naturally, I love Art, graphic art, Color, and beauty in all of its forms. I am a natural explorer and enjoy trips out into the countryside. What joy there is in exploring small towns and finding great mom and pop restaurants, wineries, old farms and silos, and wonderful people everywhere I go.
I also enjoy great foods.
Music

I love great harmony!
Some of my favorites include Pink Floyd, 38 Special, Alan Parsons, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, the Eagles, Phil Collins, Collective Soul, and Bad Company.
Movies
My favorite movies include Gladiator, Braveheart, Pearl Harbor, Titanic, Dances with Wolves, Tombstone, Red October, and Wyatt Earp.
I look for great stories that are well written and directed. I like action/adventure/drama and great love stories.

24, Discovery Channel, American HotRod, Monster Garage, Orange County Choppers.

Born and raised on a large, family dairy farm in Southeast Missouri, I graduated from Jackson High School in 1967, attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and received my bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture in 1971.
I married in 1975. Dan was born in 1980 and Rachel in 1982. I returned to graduate school in 1986 and secured my masters in Practical Arts and Vocational Technical Training in 1987 and remained there to secure my principals certifications (grades 4-8 and 7-12) along with my Specialist Degree in Education Administration, graduating in 1989.
My love of hardwoods began when I was managing a packing and crating department for a large moving and storage concern in El Paso, Texas back in 1983.
Divorced in 2001, I chose to follow my passion and start my hardwood wallgraphic business in March of 2006. I create interior art for both residential and commercial applications, including corporate designs and business logos utilizing amazing woods from all over the world. All of my works are unstained. The colors you see are the colors of the various woods, many of whose names I cannot even pronounce. These are all one-of-a-kind, named and numbered and signed and prepared for sale.
I also do custom highlights for the interiors of hotrods, high-end cars, yachts, and corporate jets, along with custom gun and knife handles and cases for pistols and rifles. I am available to create YOUR design, allowing you to choose the woods/colors to match your decor.
If I may be of service to you please don't hesitate to write me. I look forward to hearing from you.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who would like me to do a custom, commissioned, personalized work for their home or business.
I would also like to meet other Artists and craftsmen.
It would be my privilege and pleasure to meet anyone who owns and operates their own business or who owns their own corporation, including entertainers and professional athletes.
Thanks Steven but anytime you hurt your back it just takes time. My problem is I can't take any pain medication because it makes me sick. Thank you for you nice thoughts!

"You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you."
Steven ~ Your coat of arms is magnificent. It's interesting to see the progression in the photos of your work. I'm going to participate in an art exhibit for the second time. It starts at SAM next week. It's exciting to get involved in the art community here. Enjoy your weekend! ~ Caren
Thanks for your kindness and for allowing me to be a part of your artistic Myspace world Steven! Have a wonderful weekend in Nashville. May your star continue to shine bright:) ~peace~ xox Julia
