About me: Harford county dodgeball is like no other league you have ever played in before. We are a bunch of guys who like to beat each other up with rubber balls. We do not play with sponge balls and WILL NEVER play with sponge balls. If you are looking for a social league, try somewhere else. This is serious, hardcore dodgeball.
Just to give everyone a heads up the next dodgeball season is going to start on Monday April 7th, 2008. Anyone that wants to play let me know.
Monday Nights for 7 weeks plus championship games.
$250 per team.

**In April of 2004, Christopher B. Elser, a college junior, was attacked by an intruder in his fraternity house at the Johns Hopkins University. Chris later passed away in the cardiac unit of the Maryland Heart Center from the wounds he sustained in the attack. This horrific and tragic event robbed Chris' family and friends of one of the most magnetic, outgoing, kind and joyful presences in their lives. Chris was an athlete, a leader, a brother, son and friend to all. In order to preserve the memory of Chris' spirit, several of his friends, with the support of the Elser family, have founded the Christopher B. Elser Memorial Fund in his honor. **

I hold a special place in my heart for dodgeball, but sadly haven't participated in the game since one final, triumphant round of 'German Dodge' in 8th grade.
I have been involved in several recent impromptu games of 'dodgeball,' but these haven't so much involved balls as they have rocks, sticks, debris, etc. and weren't really games but me pelting unsuspecting victims. Cheers.
