The Hark to Towler is a place where all Live music is welcome...Indie, Metal, Rock, Blues, Reggae, Folk, World, Soul etc.....Keep an eye on some of the bands coming our way via our Gig Guide below. We have had some awesome bands in the past and the future is looking quite warm to very hot.
We have full PA,(6 Peavey cabs/ Studiomaster amps - around 2000W a side/ Soundcraft 24 channel desk) a great light show (par cans, pinspots + colour blasters), a top little stage (Bands! Remember, this is a pub - not Madison Square Gardens! It's 2ft high X 14ft deep X 11ft wide.) ... even free fog! And crap monitors - but you can't have everything! Microphones are also provided. Not bad, eh? Jon (that's me actually) does the sound, so let's not have any moaning about bringing your own soundman - it's not necessary. No one knows the rig like I do - & even I still don't know it! Not intimately anyhow. It's a very secretive system. Run exactly like the Millenium Falcon. A quick slap on the dash & off we go! Ha! Ha! Bands - drop your fees accordingly! :)
PLEASE NOTE: We are open from 4.30pm every night. 6.00pm on Saturdays (coz there's lots to do) Gigs usually start around 9pm - 9.15pm - depending on complications. Ha! Ha!
