Check this out. One of my songs is going to be featured on the next The Watt from Pedro Show. It's a free podcast off iTunes, or you can go to www.twfps.com and hear it online. It's a pretty cool radio show featuring all kinds of music and spiels from Mike Watt and friends...

Hey man - haven't forgotten about this project.  A few things changed in my life lately and one of them is the money situation, so I'm on shutdown on anything new for another month or two.  To be honest, it'll sound better in autumn anyway, once it's cooled off.  Thanks again for letting me attempt this thing so far.  Hope you're well.

Peace

I wish I'd thought to write Alanis Morrissette and asked her not to ever record Supposed Infatuation Junkie or whatever it was.

I've thought of giving that show another shot - I liked it just fine in the 80's, though mostly because it was a Cosgrove/Hall show, not because it was better than Danger Mouse (or Bananaman).

I saw where you can get the ENTIRE series on Amazon for pretty cheap, especially if you go the used route.

You might be surprised how much fun it is to watch as an adult, since it was kind of made for adults in the first place.

I tamper with it a bit, but honestly, I just add tracks in spurts, so I do quality control and make sure I like the playlist sequence.

Pollard, eh? Not the first time I've heard that. Just hope he doesn't get upset. I'd rather he was flattered.

I have all four of your cd's, and thank you for sending them all to me. I've thought about trying to do a collaboration through mail since early this decade, but the technology just wasn't there 'till now (or soon, at least).

Mr. Simmons,

We here at the HA camp appreciate your concerns and are taking them into consideration. We wish that every release, by every band now that we mention it, could be on par musically with your 1978 solo album and all the subsequent contributions you made to Kiss after Ace Frehley’s departure from the band. Ace really was pulling the band down with such meager efforts like “Parasite” and “Shock Me”. The doors had to be opened for the real Kiss. Let’s face it, “Burning Up With Fever” is the direction the band should have went immediately after Destroyer.

We are also admitted and avid movie junkies here, and we rank your performance in 1984’s “Runaway” as one of the finest ever to be put on film, and acting alongside the legendary Tom Selleck was just a bonus. As far as we are concerned, the list reads: you, De Niro in Taxi Driver and Rob Lowe in St. Elmo’s Fire, with the latter two coming in quite a bit further down the line in our minds.

We apologize for any mental stress this situation has caused you, and we personally invite you to stop by our home and throw back a few vodka and orange juices. Because when you’re down in the dumps, and you need something to bring you up, there’s only one thing that’s going to do it for you… I can’t hear you…

Oh wait, you don’t drink, and you’ve never been high in your life… bummer…

Sincerely,

Karl Childers, Esq.
