Spiraling out of Worcester, England, Harlem Dandy have created their very own musical dynamic that's both powerful, focused, and different enough to sound fresh and exciting, yet remaining familiar enough for audiences to connect with.

Violet is the voice of Harlem Dandy, and together with her fantastic vocal delivery she uses her stage acting experiences to provide an almost mesmerising centre piece for the band when they perform live. Phil is the musical force of the band and is on Guitar duties, knocking out face melting riffs and enchanting, melodic chord sequences that are backed up by his programmed beats and samples.
A brief potted history >>
Harlem Dandy came about in 2007, the group wrote their initial songs on Acoustic guitar, and performed them at various open mic nights and acoustic-only shows to get a feel for the potential of the band, and it's material. The original intention was to keep it focused and 'spacey' Their philosophy was that if it worked on a base level, it should work when embellished with a bigger sound. After this initial stage of Harlem Dandy, forged together by their common vision, drive, and focus, Phil and Violet soon ferociously set about creating further self-styled material and translating their earlier work into a fuller format.
