In March of 2005, the band HARLLEQUIN rose from a blend of thrash metal, progressive metal and traditional heavy metal, which strongly influenced the founders members Fabrício Moraes, Cesar Zolhof, Mário Linhares, Gustavo Vieira and Pedro Val. //// The group concluded the composition of its CD, "King of the Dead" and began their search for wider contacts in the music world. Harllequin had not yet made their live debut, so the band sent their demo to the producers of the famous and highly disputed Brazil Metal Union Festival – 2005 and there they could play together with great national bands like Eterna, Tuatha de Danann, Torture Squad, Khallice, and others./// The band took full advantage of this moment, presenting various shows from then on, playing in almost all regions of Brazil./// In 2008 the band split-up without release their debut album. After a hiatus of 3 years the band returned with a new formation and with full force, preparing the release of their concept album "King of the Dead", composing a new full-length and arranging their first European tour in 2013. With powerful songs and astonishing interpretations Harllequin intends to carve its name into heavy music's history. Hellakins are riding, riding again !!

Harllequin proudly announces a partneship with On Fire Booking Agency, which will be responsible for an european tour that will happen between April and May, 2013. The band will be presenting the music of the album Hellakin Riders in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Poland, Czech Republic and Russia. More details about the concerts coming soon !!
