I have several different performing projects, and I am using some of the songs here to give examples of them. "Holding On To You" and "Daydream",off the Mixed Feelings CD, are performed by the Blues ? Band, which features guitarist Greg Koch, bass by Kurt Koenig and drums by Bob Mueller. "Rollercoaster",the Little Walter nugget,is performed by Leroy Airmaster, a band that I made my reputation with in the 1980s and still perform with on occasion.I have added a couple more of Leroy's most popular songs:"Feedbag"and "7 Nights To Rock". My long standing acoustic duo with Peter Roller is represented by a song off the Duo Personality CD, "Blue Fog".I occasionally play in a duo with Jim Liban,and "Parchman Farm"is a good example of our 2 harp attack."Killer Joe"is a demo by the Riccos.If you scroll down , there is a short video of the Riccos ,which consists of jazz pianist and singer Joel Freisinger, congas by John Ricco, and myself tripling on harp, guitar, and vocals. We play a mixture of blues and jazz, but it all comes out sounding Latin. I've also added our version of "The In Crowd".

Sounds Like
I've been typified as a blues artist, but I enjoy playing many styles. As a session harmonica player I have recorded blues, jazz, rock, jingles, and singer songwriter stuff. My harmonica playing employs some over-blowing technique to achieve a more chromatic approach.
Although guitar was my first instrument, my harmonica technique is more advanced than my guitar chops. My guitar playing is bluesy and expressive. My singing is also an effective tool in my arsenal of musical weapons. I have released 7 albums over the course of my 40 year career in music. I have 3 CD's currently available at CDbaby.com. The latest release called "Mixed Feelings" is an eclectic 4-6 piece band recording. There are acoustic style harmonica duos with Jim Liban on"Hot Air".My first CD release( after several vinyl and cassette recordings) "Duo Personality"is also an acoustic style blues duo CD, with most guitar by Peter Roller. Paul Black is on a couple of tunes, and Jim Liban on one.
I sound different in these different formats. Material varies, as does my approach; from sensitive acoustic playing, to a deft jazzy approach, to high energy rockin.

Hello Steve! Yes!!!! Leroy Airmaster is back! I would be out to the DBC show but I am gigging. I will be out to Delafield to check you guys out. It has been awhile...I have many fond memories of L.A. I'm applying to Berklee, Syracuse University, Potsdam, University of Maine, and some others I think. I can go to University of Maine for free, so I'll most likely go there, but I have an audition for a full scholarship August 23 to any college of my choice on the basis of vocal performance (which I've found is my best shot at this point) I'll send you a video of the performance after I do it. We started an essay in English and they're chosen at random... I happen to get a B.B. King speech :)
