Excederin...Mood: hurting

Call me Harmonic Squeal...or just plain Squeal...or even Justus Groovus...or Groovus for short. There's a few other aliases floating around but even I can't remember them. Or is it that I don't want to remember them??? They do say that the memory is the first thing to go...
I play guitar in BlindSeven. Think Megadeth meets Dream Theater meets Godsmack I guess. I don't know, you tell me what it sounds like! It's all metal to me! Check 'us out and I think you'll dig the music. If you don't like it, share us with your enemies. We don't care.
A couple killer shows are coming up. First, we'll trek down to Tucson on 1/9/10 to headline @ GJ's Coffeehouse. Not sure what a metal band will look like in a coffee house setting but it's sure to be interesting! If you're in Tucson or want to make the trek with us just let me know. Only $2!!!
Later in the month on 1/30/10 we'll be opening for our friends L.A. Guns at Club Red over in Tempe. Hit me up for discount tickets.
For all you gearheads, here's a list of all the goodies I use...
Guitars:
Gibson Les Paul Standard, cherry sunburst, EMG 81/81
Ibanez RGT42FM neck-through, red flame top, EMG 81/60
Custom Kramer neck-through, black metallic, EMG 81/85
Agile AL2000, black flame top, EMG 81/85
Agile AL2000, natural flame top, Duncan Distortion (bridge) '59 (neck)
Fender Esprit, Duncan JB (bridge) '59 (neck)
Fender American Strat, Stevie Ray Vaughn Signature, Texas Specials
Fender F-3 Acoustic
Amplifiers & Cabinets:
Peavey XXX tube head
Marshall JCM900 1960A
Marshall JCM900 1960B
Effects/Pedals:
Boss TU-2 Tuner
Boss NS-1 Noise Suppressor
Boss DD-2 Digital Delay
BBE Sonic Stomp
Electro-Harmonix EH4600 Small Clone Chorus
Dunlop Crybaby from Hell Wah
My set up is pretty basic, just a few toys to punch in when the mood strikes me :) My signal path amounts to a simple, straight-forward matter of guitar ---> tuner ---> wah ---> delay ---> chorus ---> BBE ---> noise suppressor ---> XXX head. The BBE stays on all the time, the delay gets kicked on for leads and then the chorus to add some nice shimmer to clean passages. I'll usually use the XXX's Ultra channel for my standard "chunk" and then kick over to the Crunch channel for leads. It's a pretty simple set up and sounds like a beast!
For smaller non-metal related gigs:
Line6 POD XT Live either direct or into a Behringer VTone GMX210 combo.
Um...
my doppleganger...
my kids' future spouses...
