    Harmonic Superkill began to take shape parallel to the indie rock movement of the new millennium so it is inevitable that they find pieces of this within their music. However, Harmonic Superkill is not your typical indie rock group. Their sound is heavily influenced by the old school RnB, rock and soul groups of the 60's and 70's, but it remains bold and edgy enough to find a place within the artistic avenue that is music today. It is an aesthetic quality that makes their line up of rock, funk, blues and soulful melodies shine through the crowd of music that is now paralyzed by boundaries.

    Originating from Seattle, the group began as five individuals whose chemistry and ability to push themselves to outdo expectations and trends, has been the glue that holds them together still to this day. They know that the power of a tight energetic live show will be their strength for winning an audience and it is one reason why they are so road worthy. This is what one should expect for a group that has been playing together for more than 5 years and it has been a process that has given room for the band's artistic development and readiness.

    Another constant within Harmonic Superkill is their aspirations to be heard. From guerilla shows to local clubs to The King Cat Theater, there is no venue that intimidates their abilities as musicians and as a cohesive group. It shows their ambition to make a name for themselves and to establish the necessary connection with their fans.

    If anything is clear it is that Harmonic Superkill has no plans to stop expanding. Not only are they are currently working on a debut EP, but Harmonic Superkill will be playing extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest in the spring and summer of 2009. Be sure to check them out.
