Almighty Creator, Jesus, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Marcus Garvey and the guy who supplies us with our half price air tickets to travel the world and tek plane like taxi....
Established since 2001 our reputation for quality events is unprecedented by rival black run organisations. Leading the way in innovative, creative and effective marketing campaigns that leave their customers satisfied, artists rewarded and venues appreciative of what a Harmony Productions event can do for business.
Originated from a wine bar in South London on Sunday night for 6 months, to the heart of black comedy in the UK, The Tabernacle in Westbourne Park, West London on a Friday Night for 2 years. Always taking comedy to new hieghts, then moving back down to South london to the Broadway Theatre finally making their promotion debut at the Hackney Empire Novemeber 2004 with another sold out show, Comedy Link Up.
The list of successful, soldout and innovative shows cannot be rivaled by any other currently run black organisation, garaunteed where we lead others follow. Leaders of the Nu Skool was our first UK tour, London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham and the first show to be recorded live for BBC 1xtra back in 2003, featuring Kojo, Quincy, Mr Cee, Donna Spence, Victor Daniels and hosted by Harmony Productions CEO Kennedy.
It continued with titles such As Good As It Gets, Usual Suspects, Get Rich or Die Laughing, Comedy Link Up, Comedy Face Off and of course Dons of Comedy. Also organisaing the first One man shows for some of comedy's heavywieghts such as, Something About Slim and Kojo's World. Our last addition to the collection of production titles is of course the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards (BECA) where we brought the first big black comedy event to the infamous Shepherds Bush Empire with our special guest Kevin Hart from Soul Plane.
Our stature and pedigree within the comedy promotions field cannot be rivalled, others may claim to be No1 but we are the best. To confirm this let us please also mention that we brought over Bill Bellamy on a sold out UK tour and also Mark Curry with the Hanging with Mr Cooper tour. The pedigree of artists and shows we have successfully produced and continue to work with sets us apart from the run of the mill trying a ting production/promotion organisations.
We haven't forgotten to mention the concerts, Omar, Terri Walker, Shola Amar and of course Floetry. Or the trips and excursions we help put on the map Rotterdam Carnival, St Lucia Jazz Festival and the Paris Va va Voom Weekender This is only the beginning watch out for 2007/8 where will be taking it to new hieghts and letting you the public satisfy your desires for top quality black events in reputable venues/locations and credible artists/people.
