Harmsway has been together since the summer of 2003. We started out in a warehouse, just four friends jamming out to rock songs. Every time we jammed more and more people would come out to listen to us and party. Pretty soon it was apparent we were destined to be much more. The jams then turned into practices. We decided to start off as a cover band with intentions of eventually transitioning to originals. Since the warehouse days, we have made some progress. Some of our performances have been at Sam’s Burger Joint, Jacks Patio Bar, The Venue, Rock City,& Wise Guys. We also gigged at a number of private parties, some for the Iron Pigs MC, and at the Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum for the Alamo City Tattoo Expo. In 2005 we made a trip to Austin to record in the same studio as gold and platinum record holders. That was an awesome experience.. We are currently working on recording our first CD. The plan is to have it out by the end of the spring 2008. We have also decided to focus on our original material. Outside of a few commitments for our cover show, we will be performing our originals from now on. So far we have received a lot of positive feedback. We have a mixture of influences from Tool to Poison. We try to make every song its own and different from the last. You will want to get up a dance for one song and then mosh for the other.
