About me: I'm what you may call a rarity in NYC. A native New Yorker. Well really a Brooklynite but that is part of the 5 boroughs that make up our great metropolis. I graduated from P.S.99, John Dewey HS, and Brooklyn College.
Born and educated in the boro of Brooklyn I come from a family that ran roller coasters and candy stores. My Aunt Molly and Uncle George ran and lived under the Thunderbolt roller coaster in Coney Island for 60 years and raised two sons, one of which I am named after.
I run a popular bar in Greenpoint Brooklyn called Boulevard Tavern. I DJ at Boulevard every Tuesday, Punks on 45. A night of Punk, New Wave, Pop, and Soul singles. All vinyl 45s, all night. 7" never felt so good.
I love politics and comedy, although those 2 seem to overlap lately.
