Harold is a Graduate of North Texas State University School of Music. A former student of the trumpet guru Don "Jake" Jacoby, Harold has performed with The Sonny Costanzo Jazz Orchestra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and has been in the Trumpet Section of the orchestra for many great Artists including Tony Bennet, Sammy Davis Jr., Rosemary Clooney, etc.etc.
Harold's influences are strongly centered in the styles of Clark Terry, Miles, Chet Baker, Warren Vache as well as Freddy Hubard. Harold currently leads his own Jazz Quintet and 18pc Jazz Orchestra that perform regularly throughout the Northeastern United States. The quintet is joined by the great vocalist Nicole Pasternak and has frequently performed with Jazz Greats: Ralph Lalamma, tenor saxophonist and Warren Chiasson, virbraphonist. The Jazz Orchestra performs with Walt Andrus, former vocalist with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Rob Zapulla, current vocalist with the TDO as well as various guest artists. Harold can be seen monthly at the Silvermine Tavern Jazz Series in Norwalk, CT.

Mr. Zinno, what do you think of me talking to some booking agents out there about getting us some gigs, since we don't need to rehearse and we seem to be on the same page, also what are the chances of me getting some Nelson Riddle Charts from you ?
Yes, I actually held a 2 day trumpet rehearsal for The New York Trumpet Company CD recording we did here in Saratoga... I had 5 Trumpets all at once playing down the charts to the tracks cranked in 7.1 surround!
