What I live my life by:
muinin i d'anam
muinin i do chroi
muinin i d'aigne
(with apologies to my Irish Gaelic-speaking friends!) this loosely translates as
TRUST in your soul,
BELIEF in your heart,
FAITH in your mind
- three things which I have to have in all aspects of my life - and especially in the people in it!
Music
Would anyone believe me if I said...The Twang?! I've probably bored everyone rigid by constantly banging on about them. Otherwise I do appear to have a certain predilection for stuff coming out of the West Midlands for some reason. But not exclusively!
Movies
Anything and everything by Peter Weir, especially The Year of Living Dangerously. Likewise, M. Night Shyamalan.
Television
Books
Best book ever was Great Expectations (and I still have them, 'expectations' that is!). The 48 Laws of Power;
How To Win Friends and Influence People;
Remembrance of Things Past - Marcel Proust;
The Politics of Spin;
Thus Spake Zarathustra;
Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle;
Vladimir Mayakovsky: Love Is The Heart of Everything;
Diary of a Rock 'n' Roll Star;
The Outsider.
Heroes
True heroes are a rare and special breed. They're not two-bit pop stars or reality TV wanabees, but those who have given valiantly of themselves. There are those, however, whom I value: anyone who has ever done me a kind deed or been generous of spirit in some way. Not for what they may get out of it for themselves, but just for kindness sake alone. I have a long memory and those little things, however insignificant at the time to the giver maybe, to me means a lot. And they get repaid, when I can, with what I can. It's those people and those acts which feed my soul. (hey, profound or what! ;-) )

Hi, Linn - yup, it was my first time to see Nick perform and I had to tweet about it. Really blown away by his talent and love the chemistry between he and Cy Curnin, too. Wish I could see this tour again.
As yet we don't have any gigs lined up in London yet but we would definitely be up for it. We will just need to keep our fingers crossed that this single blows the doors open for us.
