HARRI BEST was born in london to Nigerian parents....i grew up with the strong influences of western music&african influences..hence the strong percussive &groove orientation in my music.Artists like the Jacksons,James Brown,Prince,Stevie Wonder,Terence Trent T"arby,Marvin Gaye,The Beatles,Stones,Teddy Pendergrass were strong influences from the western world.While artists like Fela kuti,Ebenezer Obey&king Sunny Ade&I.K Dairo had a big influence..all from Africa......
Over the years HARRI BEST has done shows in many european countries..sweden,germany,holland,france..etc..he has also done shows all over the uk. He also over the years did a version of the classic song by 10cc(dreadlock holiday)releasd independently,there were also recordings of self penned songs like "like a funky train",love slave"-(which had an airing on mtv europe),and a bootleg version of the Daft Punk classic..."around the world" which did quite well in a lot of club charts.................................
My style has been described as a fusion of funk,soul,rock,pop wit african influences..i i guess i cant argue with that.......i call it PORN FUNK! its RAW ,STRIPPED,SEXY AND FUNKY!
