About me:
Harrison Perry (b. May 16, 1961 in Savannah, Hardin County, TN) is an accomplishment-driven businessman and philanthropist.
Perry is Sales & Marketing Manager at www.designteam.net. He is also founder and president of Harrison Perry,LLC, a business management, marketing and communications firm specializing in services for luxury, leisure and life-enhancement businesses. Through client-specific research, planning, communications dialog and evaluation, the results-driven firm helps businesses exceed their productivity objectives.
Perry also served as publisher of the popular periodic e-magazine (3,000 contact entities collected one business card at a time!) “...IN THE NEWS!” featuring social, charitable and business happenings in Greater Atlanta.
Known for his media relations, special events and brand-building savvy, Perry is also recognized for his ability to match clients with charitable causes.

Prior to launching his company in 2003, Perry served in senior fundraising and communications positions for The Georgia Trust, The Atlanta Opera, the Southeastern Flower Show benefiting Atlanta Botanical Garden and the High Museum of Art.
Prior to his career transition into non-profit administration, he was a buyer and store manager for national retailers including Brooks Brothers, Abercrombie & Fitch and Dillard Department Stores.
Perry received his BBA in Marketing with a minor in Piano Performance from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro where he served as president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon national social fraternity, member of the Inter-Fraternity Council, director of the Miss MTSU Scholarship Pageant (a Miss America Pageant preliminary), color guard team captain of the Band of Blue marching band, saxophonist in the concert band and a University Student Ambassador.
Actively involved in the community, Perry donates his time and talents to arts, cultural and social services organizations. He is currently serves on the board of Savannah Arts Commission. Perry has served on the Rainbow Advisory Board of CHRIS Kids, Inc. and as a member of the leadership committees for annual charity fundraising events including the CHRIStal Ball benefiting CHRIS Kids, Premiere Party benefiting CHRIS Kids Rainbow Program, Seasons of Love cabaret benefiting CHRIS Kids and H.E.R.O. for Children’s “Golden H.E.R.O. Awards” gala (special guests Paula Deen and her sons Jamie Deen and Bobby Deen and Georgia Legend Coach Vince Dooley).
Perry served as the publicity chair for the “Urban Chic” fashion event benefiting AID Atlanta, chaired the Opening Reception at the World of Coca-Cola for the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) 2005 International Conference on Fundraising for more than 3,000 attendees, served as chair of Fundraising and Communications for Atlanta Cotillion benefiting AID Atlanta in 2004 and 2005, chaired AFP’s Georgia National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon for 1,000 people at the Georgia World Congress Center's Georgia Ballroom in 2004, served on the AFP board of directors from 1999-2004, was awarded as AID Atlanta’s top individual special event fundraiser for 2003 and served as a cabinet member on the Woodruff Arts Center Annual Corporate Fundraising Campaign from 1997-1999 where he received a Charles R. Yates Award for Volunteer Fundraising Leadership in 1999.
Perry's professional affiliations include serving on the board of Savannah Arts Commission and Rotary International, Savannah Chamber of Commerce, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Public Relations Society of America and numerous other civic organizations. He enjoys strength training, running, yoga, hiking, water and snow skiing, reading, and collecting and listening to best-of-genre music.
